Terms of Use
This page is provided in English only as the single authoritative version.
1. Agreement to these Terms
voyageons ("voyageons", the "Service") is a collaborative trip-planning application operated by Dash Systems, a French micro-enterprise (sole proprietorship) run by Sébastien Aglaé ("we", "us"). These Terms of Use form a binding agreement between you and Dash Systems governing your access to and use of the Service across the web app, the installable PWA and any future native apps.
By creating an account, accessing or using voyageons, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
We offer optional two-factor authentication (2FA) and recommend enabling it. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.
3. The Service and collaboration
voyageons lets you create trips and invite other people to collaborate on itineraries, maps, budgets, checklists, notes, polls and related content. When you share a trip or invite collaborators, you grant those people access to the trip content according to the role you assign (owner, editor or viewer). You are responsible for who you invite and for content visible to them.
Trips may be made public via a share link at your choice; public content can be viewed by anyone with the link.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you add to voyageons (trip details, notes, expenses, photos links, etc.). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service for you and your collaborators.
You are responsible for your content and must have the rights to use it. You must not upload unlawful, infringing, harmful or abusive content.
5. Privacy and your data
How we collect, use and protect your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. We process your data under the EU GDPR and French data-protection law.
You can exercise your main rights yourself from your profile under Data & privacy: export all your data as a machine-readable file (portability), manage your cookie consent per category at any time, and permanently delete your account after a password confirmation. When you delete your account, trips you own with other members are transferred to them and your contributions to shared trips are anonymised; see the Privacy Policy for details.
You remain responsible for the personal data of others that you add to a trip (for example collaborator names): only add such data where you are entitled to, and inform those people where needed.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: misuse or disrupt the Service; attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours; reverse-engineer, scrape or overload the Service; bypass usage limits or security; or use the Service to break the law or infringe others’ rights. We may suspend or limit accounts that violate these rules or threaten the Service’s stability or security.
To keep the Service available for everyone, we enforce rate limits (an overall ceiling, a per-account limit, and per-feature limits). When traffic exceeds these limits, requests are temporarily refused (HTTP 429). We may also throttle, temporarily block, or permanently block specific IP addresses or networks that generate abnormal traffic, repeatedly fail to authenticate, or are used for abuse. Automated or bulk access is permitted only within these limits.
7. AI features
voyageons includes optional AI features (for example, the trip assistant) powered by third-party large-language-model providers such as Google Gemini. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete; you must review it before relying on it. The content you submit to an AI feature is sent to the provider to generate a response. AI usage may be metered with credits depending on your plan.
8. Third-party services
The Service integrates third parties, including Google Maps and Places (maps, place details and directions), Google Analytics (audience measurement) and email delivery providers. The Google Maps and Google Analytics scripts are loaded only after you allow their respective consent categories; if you decline Maps, the map uses an offline basemap instead, and if you decline Google Analytics, its script is never loaded. Your use of those features is also subject to the relevant third party’s terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, and their availability may change.
9. Plans, billing and free tier
voyageons offers a free tier and may offer paid plans with additional limits and features. Where paid plans are available, prices, billing cycles and what is included are shown at purchase. Unless stated otherwise or required by law, payments are non-refundable for the period already started. We may change plan limits and pricing with reasonable notice.
10. Availability and changes
We work to keep voyageons available and reliable but provide it on an "as is" and "as available" basis without guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice of material adverse changes where practicable.
11. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding and the "voyageons" name, is owned by Dash Systems and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or to copy or resell the Service.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your profile (a password confirmation is required). We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or where required by law. On account deletion, your personal data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy; trips you own with other members are transferred to them and your contributions to shared trips are anonymised.
13. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or trips arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including French consumer law).
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence still apply. Disputes will be handled by the competent French courts, subject to any mandatory rules that allow you to bring a claim elsewhere.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
